Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Within 3 to 5 years of graduation, graduates of the Business Administration Undergraduate Programme are expected to:

  • PEO-1: Take on roles as experts, analysts, or management-track professionals in finance, accounting, general management, production management, marketing, human resources, and other business fields across public institutions, private companies, or non-profit organisations.
  • PEO-2: Take on different roles within organisations that are undergoing digital transformation or leveraging data analytics for decision-making or developing specialised skills in these areas.
  • PEO-3: Take advantage of career prospects by working in varied cultural and competitive contexts in both domestic and international business environments.
  • PEO-4: Engage in entrepreneurial pursuits, either by launching their own businesses or by contributing to the start-up ecosystem, or assume active positions in organisations that create innovative business models.

Program Learning Outcomes (Program Competencies)

Upon successful completion of the program graduate students will be able to:

PLO-1: Explain and interpret the fundamental theoretical and factual knowledge in the field of business (finance, accounting, marketing, production/operations, human resources, management, economics, and business law/regulations).

PLO-2: Define and analyze business problems and formulate solutions by applying appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods.

PLO-3: Implement decision support systems by utilizing data analytics, statistical methods, and digital tools.

PLO-4: Assess digital transformation processes and the impacts of technological advancements on businesses.

PLO-5: Analyze both domestic and global business environments in terms of their economic, cultural, and competitive dimensions.

PLO-6: Take individual responsibility being a part of a team and perform autonomously in accomplishing tasks.

PLO-7: Integrate sustainability and social responsibility principles into decision-making processes with a sense of professional and ethical responsibility.

PLO-8: Analyze entrepreneurial processes, develop business models, and generate innovative ideas.

PLO-9: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills for managerial applications.

PLO-10: Determine learning requirements, research appropriate resources, and manage self-learning to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

PLO-11: Employs English effectively for professional communication in both verbal and written forms.

PLO-12: Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms within the business environment and adopt sensitivity to social and cultural diversity.
